Trims Boards or Cants to Length
The Brewco Undercut Multi-Trim Saw is avaiable from three to seven heads, this system quickly and accurately trims boards or cants to length. Material is dealt one piece at a time into the frame and is automatically even-ended to ensure precise trim length and allows for hand's-free operation. Each piece is then dealt forward into the saws with dogged chains, and since our saws are positioned below the wood, this helps to eliminate dangerous kick-backs.
Available as an option, the middle saw bodies can be dropped out by the push of a button, allowing for quick trim length change-overs. No more having to remove the middle saws manually. The hold-down mechanism slides across the top of the wood smoothly. Each saw is powered by a 15Hp motor and uses 26" diameter saw blades. Minimum cut-to length is 28" which is closer than others in the market.
A control panel allows the operator to monitor and coordinate all functions all at one location.
